I've been a safari guide for around 11 years, on and off, having started guiding in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and then moving on to several other lodges in the following few years, with a somewhat disastrous stint at living in London in between. Since 2007 I've been living in Nelspruit and working full time for Lawson's Birding and Wildlife Tours as a tour leader and marketing mananger, while still carying on with my freelance photo-journalism career. I got married to Chantelle in March this year, and we live happily in our two-bed unit with Emma the cat, more affectionately known as 'Sputz'. My interests incliude gym - I'm something of an excercise addict - tennis, photography (big time!), art (watercolours and acrylics), birding, fly fishing and general outdoor stuff.
